Getting it Right: Goal Setting for the New Year

It’s only November, my friends, but now’s the time to set your Fruclastic money and other goals for 2016. I’m a bit of an expert at setting goals. More accurately, I’m an expert and setting  and then failing at accomplishing those goals.  🙂  So I thought I’d share with you today a bit about what I’ve learned regarding goal-setting mistakes and goal-setting successes. My hope is that this information will help you accurately set (and achieve) your 2016 financial and other goals.

  1. I’m really looking forward to setting some new goals for 2016! I have a few different goals, some professional and some side hustle-related. If you don’t write them down and make a plan odds are you won’t execute on them.

Can’t wait to hear what you’ve got planned for 2016, DC! I hear you on writing them down and making a plan – it’s definitely to to achieving them.

  2. I was really looking forward to making 2016 the year of a fully funded SEP. We’re essentially losing Tim’s disability check, though, so that’s out the window. Now it’s going to be covering that hole in the budget. But I’m still determined to find a way to max out my Roth. That and getting Tim’s dental implants over and done with are the major goals for next year.
