Ok, boys and girls, who will the winner be? Charlie over at Three Thrifty Guys has challenged his cohort Aaron and I to a Goodwill Smackdown. The challenge? Buy an item at a Goodwill store, resell it on Ebay, and see who walks away with the highest percentage of profit. We’ve all posted about the items we’ve bought, now, read the three posts from this week, and then vote here by leaving a comment for who you think will make the highest percentage profit. All of the correct voters will go into a drawing for the $50 gift card. Which one of us has the most resale wisdom? Cast your vote today!

Fun competition. I would love to get in on this someday.
We may have to get another challenge together. It’s been fun. 🙂
I need to try this!
Yes, lots of people make money at it!
I want to give it a try, Laurie.
Go for it, Marissa!
Rooting for you, Laurie. I hope you win.
Thanks, Marissa!
I resent that comment, marissa! 😉
I bet you do, Charlie. 🙂
I am voting for you but I don’t want to win the gift card. The nearest Good Will store is a 5 or 6 hour drive for me and involves a stop at customs and immigration.
We have great Salvation Army stores here in Canada but no Good Will.
Thanks, Jane! If you win, we’ll figure out a plan, like donating it to a needy family…..
Hope you win, Laurie! Can’t wait to see the results!
Thanks, Kelly! It’s been a fun little contest. 🙂
That sounds pretty cool, good luck!
Thanks, Greg! It’s been fun to do something new (to me) and different. It’s gotten a little bug under me to make some more income this way. 🙂
This sounds really interesting, I had never thought of doing anything like this before.
It was super fun!
Nice sound like something fun to be apart of. I actually only read Aaron’s post I think he bought a golf putter for about 3$ so he could have a great profit.
Could have. 🙂
What a great idea. I like it!
Fun stuff. 🙂
So behind on my blog reading and commenting, so I’m coming to this post a little late. I know there are people who make a ton of money buying stuff at garage sales, goodwill etc. and reselling on e-bay. If you have a decent Goodwill nearby there seems to be a lot of money to be made. Love this idea!
That’s what I’m learning, KK. Seems there’s a gold mine available out there!
