My nephew in Trinidad raises chickens for sale on the property he bought. He has done his best to protect them but feral cats still get to them at times.
Yeah, we think a lot about raising chickens too, but worry about that, and the coyotes here as well. Our friend has had several chickens killed by coyotes here that come within feet of her back door!
This is something I am considering. I want to turn a small property near my area for raising chicken. I know kids would love it and take care of it, extra hobby for them.
Jayson, it has been great for our kids. The peace, quiet and hard work are wonderful – most of the time. 😉
We have a mobile chicken coop and our chickens love us for it!
