Frugal Food

Here you’ll find budget friendly (and downright cheap) recipes to help you spend less while feeding your family.  In keeping with our goal to eat mostly, if not all, whole foods, most of these recipes will feature whole food ingredients.  You’ll also find our Frugal Farmer Meal Calendar below.

Our goal is to make super cheap meals while still retaining  a fair amount of nutritional value.  Under $4 per meal, or a total of $12-13 a day, or $400 a month or so, is our grocery goal for our family of six.  If we can beat this, we’ll do it.

And we’ll share our meal plans and our recipes so you can duplicate if you wish.
